NOTY RYNKOWE	Interestingly, Haut Bailly is the only Cru Classé of Pessac-Léognan which does not make a WHITE wine. Under the ownership of the Sanders family, Haut Bailly was always a refined and serious wine but under the Wilmers control (since 1998) it has gained in seduction, weight and complexity. Unfortunately, Haut Bailly (like many within this appellation) is sold as futures essentially in France and its peripheral countries (Belgium, Switzerland ...). It merits much greater attention as its wines are absolutely deliscious. Besides the Dillon Family (Haut Brion) and some fleeting pension funds, I believe this to be the only Classified Growth to be owned by an Amercian (R. Wilmers, banker based in Buffalo).
