WINIFIKACJA	Harvested and sorted by hand. The red wine is traditionally vinified in stainless-steel vats at relatively low temperatures. The wine is then matured in barrels (50 to 60% new) during 18 to 22 months for the first wine, 12 months for the second wine.

STYLE	Domaine de Chevalier (red) is a rich, silky and fragrant wine. Excellent aptitude for ageing.

NOTY RYNKOWE	Chevalier had an ever-so-slight qualitative dip in the early 90’s. Since, the red is quickly coming back to a level of a 3rd Growth and the white has almost regained it's position in the 1980's as one of Bordeaux's legendary white wines. Lastly, everyone should meet the very affable Olivier Bernard at least once !
